Now, normally when an author of a story causes a plot twist they don’t announce it

They permit it to sneak up, causing shock for the story’s benefit

I however am not your average author

Not Riordan, Austen, Poe or Chaucer

I am too blunt for hidden intent and too honest for vaguity

So this ladies and gents and folx , this is the plot twist in my story

I do believe you have all heard of the word no

Two letters yes but more powerful when it is given time to grow

Do you remember back in poem two

When I listed people that I wished I had never knew

Well this word was constantly in my throat

Especially in the times I was not permitted to emote how I truly felt

Or how much the pain dealt, truly hurt

With each passing act this word grew

Until it was so large that it finally flew, out of my mouth

Finally permitting the fire they set to be doused

To them I say,

You were all wrong about me

For you see your acts of cruelty

Are not nor will ever be what defines me

Yes you thought you had won once the damage was done

But cruel fools you know not who you were among

You may have broken burned scarred and tested

But you foolish fiends I am not so easily bested

This is what you face now

The full conviction of a two letter word

The most powerful one ever heard

As a full sentence with no explanation

To your narcissistic and wicked ears an aberration

Now listen close for you may miss it

But gods help you if you choose to dismiss it
